Introduction

Welcome to the first Verse of the Day on the All for Him Podcast!

Housekeeping

Before we get started, I do have some quick housekeeping items for y’all:

Verse of the Day

Okay, let’s open God’s Word to the book of Isaiah, chapter 43, verse 2:

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.”

As I was preparing and writing today’s episode, I was listening to the song Another In The Fire by Hillsong UNITED and man, it’s so good! I will link to it in the show notes if you want to check it out (and I highly recommend you do), but this was inspiration for today’s episode... And if you listen or read the lyrics, you will understand why Isaiah 43:2 came to mind.

No matter what we are going through, no matter how big or how small, no matter how calm or how tough: our God is still with us.

There is no one else like Him. If all you had was God, you would have all that you need. As seen all throughout the Bible, one of my favorite examples is in Daniel, chapter 3 (which parallels with Today’s Verse of the Day), The LORD with us, even physically IN THE MIDDLE of the fire, you don’t have to fear. You don’t have to be afraid. Even when everything else doesn’t make sense, our God still does. He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. He is good. No matter what you are facing today, know that the King of kings and the LORD of lords is with you, and even if He was all you had, He would be all you need. Jesus is sufficient for you, and always remember, even when you pass through the waters, no matter how deep, He is still with you .

Y’all have a great day!
