Episode Transcription

Today’s verse of the day is SO so good, 1st Corinthians 13:13, which reads:

“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” — 1 Corinthians 13:13

As followers of Christ, we are not called to pursue miracles, power, and gifts… We are called to have FAITH, HOPE, and LOVE. And the greatest of these is love! At all times and in all things, we are called to love others as Jesus has first loved us.

I don’t know if anyone has ever shared this truth with you today, but let me tell you right now: He loves you. As hard as this is for me to even say, maybe for you to hear, but maybe you feel that no one else does and if that’s you, let me say I am so sorry. I can’t imagine. But let me tell you about God.

Find rest in Him, know that He is God, that He is good, that He has a perfect plan that cannot be thwarted. He is just that good… Seek after God.

To end today’s devo, I want to read you verse 12 of this same chapter:

“For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.” — 1 Corinthians 13:12

As said in the last chapter of the Book of Revelation, “Come, Lord Jesus, [come].” Have faith, have hope, have love, and have a great day!
