Episode Transcription

For today’s Verse of the Day we will be in the Book of Romans, chapter 15, verse 13:

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” — Romans 15:13

Let’s focus on the “as you trust in Him...” As you trust in Him. The human heart is deceitful. Our understanding is limited. We don’t always have the answers. We don’t always know the why. It doesn’t always have to make sense to us. Time and time again, no matter what God puts on your heart and no matter what He drives your towards, we are called to trust in Him. As Craig Groeschel of Life.Church says, “you have no idea what God might set in motion through a single act of bold obedience.”

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him.”

The God of... hope. Fill you with all... joy. With all... peace. As you trust in Him. Sometimes, you gotta jump. It might make no complete sense to you, but it doesn’t have to. If God calls you towards it, don’t walk, but run. His peace that goes beyond all understanding will be with you! He will be with you. And I know it might sound weird to say, “jump! Trust Him!” and you will find His peace even when things are tight, but truly I can tell you, His words are true, and He is faithful.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Today, this week, the next two weeks, this month, this year... you gotta jump. If God calls you to it, and guides you along the way, trust me He has gone before you, He is with you, and He isn’t going to leave you.

Trust Him. I love y’all so much. Y’all have a great day!
